Aaron Paul dropped by Wednesday’s edition of “Live with Kelly and Ryan”, where he chatted about reprising the role of Walter White’s meth-making sidekick Jesse Pinkman in Netflix’s blockbuster “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie”.
The conversation turned to his other role: father to daughter Story Annabelle, who he and wife Lauren Parsekian welcomed in February 2018, with hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest asking about photos taken from his appearance at Comic-Con with his daughter decked out in a tiny version of the yellow Hazmat suit that he and co-star Bryan Cranston famously wore in “Breaking Bad”.
As Paul explained, he’d actually picked up the infant-sized suit years earlier, knowing someday his eventual child would be wearing it.
“I actually got that outfit the last time I was at Comic-Con, five years previous to this,” he explained. “I was like, ‘I want to keep this outfit,’ because I walked out with a fake baby, baby Holly from ‘Breaking Bad’. And I was like, ‘You know what, I’m going to keep this and put it on my baby one day!’”
In another part of the show, Paul opens up about how his daughter “just completely changed my life.”
In another part of the interview, Paul talks about how he convinced a tattooed fan to get ink of Paul’s face on his stomach — leading Seacrest to reveal his own lower back tattoo of the actor’s face — watch:
