Maisie Williams is spilling all the tea surrounding “Game of Thrones”.
The actress, who starred as Arya Stark on the beloved HBO fantasy series, joined Sean Evans on the latest edition of “Hot Ones” to suffer through vegan hot wings while tackling some of the myths surrounding “GoT”.
Throughout the episode, Williams confirmed she almost missed her audition for Arya for a field trip to a pig farm. She also said Queen Elizabeth II did, in fact, refuse to sit on the Iron Throne during a set visit. Plus, yes, writers did send out fake scripts to castmembers tricking them into thinking their characters were about to die.
“I think they told Alfie Allen that he was killed by Bran in a really anticlimactic way,” she spilled. “But they didn’t tell Issac [Hempstead Wright] that they were doing the joke.”
Williams added, “They did another one on Kit Harington, where they said that he got really aggressively mauled on the face and he was going to have a huge disfigurement on his beautiful chiselled jaw. That one was quite funny.”
“GoT” wrapped its eighth and final season earlier this spring.
