Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs wants to change his name, again.
The rapper is no stranger to playing around with his persona, putting on performances with multiple different stage names like Puff Daddy, P. Diddy and Puffy.
But this time, he’s officially filed for a legal name change.
The 49-year-old music star would like to be called Sean Love Combs instead of Sean John Combs. Diddy’s request to change his middle name was filed in the Los Angeles County courts with the help of celebrity attorney Laura Wasser.
Written on the paperwork are the words, “desire to change middle name,” however no explanation of the choice is provided. TMZ has obtained the legal documents outlining the name change request.
Back in 2017, Diddy joked about possibly going by the name Brother Love but never took charge with an official petition. Looks like he’s finally getting around to it.
