Liam Gallagher performed on Britain’s “Later… With Jools Holland” earlier this week, and he was joined by a very special guest onstage: his 18-year-old son Gene, who sat in on drums.
Gallagher performed new track “The River” from his recently released album Why Me? Why Not., with Gene joining Gallagher’s band.
As NME points out, this marks the first time that two Gallaghers have shared a stage since Oasis split up in 2009 due to the still-irreparable rift between Liam and brother Noel Gallagher.

The former Oasis member’s son may be young but he’s no stranger to the studio; earlier this year, Gallagher shared some video on social media of the talented young drummer “laying down some bongos” on one of the tracks for Why Me? Why Not.
