According to TMZ, a 29-year-old man was arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning at the “Friends” star’s six-storey home in New York for criminal possession of a weapon and criminal trespass.

Police reportedly believe the man was inebriated and walking on a high ledge between two buildings when he apparently fell into Schwimmer’s yard.

The man then found a brick and smashed through the actor’s window in what police believe was an attempt to alert someone in order to help him get out of the property.

Schwimmer was not home during the incident but a neighbour heard the commotion and called 911, leading to the arrest.
