Khalea Lynee and James Violet from John Legend’s team faced off with two big ballads that left the coaches heartbroken having to decide between them.
Lynee delivered a powerful performance of Céline Dion’s “Because You Loved Me” that had the judges in awe, while Violet displayed his impressive range with his take on Post Malone’s “Stay”.

Finally, though, Legend had to pick one and ultimately chose Lynee, sending Violet home packing.
Violet had already lost a round the week before when he was a part of Gwen Stefani’s team but Legend saved him from elimination.
