Tim McGraw is crediting his daughter Gracie, 22, as his reason to get fit.

The country singer, 52, joined Men’s Health magazine to get real about his workout routine, cheat days and why he made the decision to get fit 11 years and 40 pounds ago.

But it was Gracie who made him realize he lost control of his weight, telling him he looked “big on screen.”

“I was in the prime of my career, and I wasn’t capitalizing on it,” he told the mag.

And his decision to give up burgers and start working out helped his career, “I use my whole body to sing – my legs, my butt. And having more control over those things makes my voice stronger.”

But when he does indulge, he loves “a cheeseburger,” saying it is his “all-time favourite.”

Adding, “Now I try to earn it, and I’ll do a little extra work.”

Gracie is McGraw and his wife Faith Hill’s eldest daughter. They also share Maggie, 21, and Audrey, 17.
