Deadpool is finally hooking up with The Avengers, but not in the way fans had expected.

Ryan Reynolds will take part in an ESPN fantasy football league with a slew of fellow superhero stars. The celebrities will be playing for designated charities.
The all-star list boasts Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Karen Gillan, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Holland, Michael B. Jordan, Anthony Mackie, Elizabeth Olsen, Chris Pratt, Ryan Reynolds, Paul Rudd and Miles Teller. Director Joe Russo and ESPN Senior Fantasy Analyst Matthew Berry are also involved.
And in his own hilarious fashion, Reynolds celebrated the news by biting into a couple of cookies featuring Downey Jr.’s face on them.

A $100,000 donation from Russo set things into motion. Each team owner will play to raise awareness and money for charity.
