My Chemical Romance announced their surprise reunion on Thursday but Jonas Brothers fans knew this months ago.

Back in June, Joe Jonas mentioned on the radio how he had heard My Chemical Romance rehearsing near the Jonas Brothers. The news made headlines for a day or soon, but many fans did not believe Jonas.
Well, egg on the face of those disbelievers. Earlier this year, Gerard Way told The Guardian a reunion wasn’t off the table but it wasn’t likely either.
“We definitely get offers regularly to reunite — it’s a constant thing,” Way said. “It’s flattering, it’s really nice of people… I miss playing with the guys, but I don’t think so…”

Think again! The band is back. Think again! The band is back. They will perform their reunion show at Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles on Dec. 20.
Following the big reveal, the band took to Instagram to share their reaction to the “unbelievable” fan response.
“It is truly unbelievable to us the happiness we have experienced over the past two days,” the band wrote. “From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the warm welcome back. We truly did not expect this. See you soon. Xoxo, MCR.”
