Blake Shelton and Garth Brooks go under the sea in the new music video for their duet “Dive Bar”.
While singing about “Spend[ing] the weekend in the deep end of a dive bar,” the singers perform the hit underwater, which is actually inside a liquor bottle at Shelton’s Nashville bar Ole Red.
The pair are joined by their band in full scuba-diving suits, as well as two hilarious dancing sharks.
“I keep saying that this is the most fun I’ve ever had on a video shoot. I couldn’t stop laughing, just pure joy,” says Brooks in a statement.
The “Dive Bar” music video marks Brooks’ first in 12 years.
“It’s been a while since we’ve done a music video, and I hope everyone agrees this one was worth the wait,” says the singer.
In the midst of his stadium tour, the “Friends in Low Places” singer is also surprising fans at dive bars across the U.S. in support of the duet.
You can catch Shelton and Brooks perform “Dive Bar” at the CMA Awards on November 13 for their first television performance of their catchy hit.
