Axl Rose took a dive during a Guns N’ Roses performance in Las Vegas on Friday night, but the veteran singer recovered with true rock-star aplomb.

Acording to TMZ, the GNR frontman was midway through a sprawling 14-minute cover of Bob Dylan’s “Knocking on Heaven’s Door” onstage at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace when the dancing rocker took a few hops backward, apparently distracted while watching guitarist Slash’s amazing fretwork.

When his foot hit the ground, Rose went skidding and landed right on his butt as his hat flew off his head.

Rose, however, made a joke of it, assuming a plank position and then shifting around to strike a pose while laying on the stage as the crowd cheered him on.

“How was that?” he asked the audience.

After a few moments, Rose got back to his feet, put his hat back on and continued the show, with a stagehand later coming onstage with a towel to wipe away whatever slippery substance that caused him to take a tumble.
