The University of Texas paid tribute to their hometown country star Kacey Musgraves during their October 19 game.
When the Texas Longhorns hosted the Kansas Jayhawks, the marching band gave their best rendition of Musgraves’ “High Horse” for the halftime show.

In the midst of performing, the band even spelled out “Grammy 2019” and “Kacey”.
Even Musgraves took to Twitter, praising their tribute of her award-winning song:

“High Horse” was featured on Musgraves’ 2019 Grammy-winning album Golden Hour, for which she took home four awards: Best Country Song, Best Country Performance, Best Country Album, and Album of the Year.
