On Tuesday, the actor was on “The Tonight Show”, and Jimmy Fallon congratulated him on his new film, “Uncut Gems”, which has earned him some serious Oscar buzz for his performance.
Asked if he ever anticipated getting Oscar buzz, Sandler replied, “No, no, no.”
He then joked, “I think when I was young I thought ‘Billy Madison’ or something had a shot, but they took that away from me so I stopped dreaming.”
