Catherine Deneuve was hospitalized on Wednesday due to aa stroke.
French newspaper La Parisien originally reported that Deneuve was in a “serious state” and that she required “extensive examinations.”

The 76-year-old actress’ family told AFP in a statement that Deneuve had a “very limited stroke which is reversible.”
They added, “Happily she has no loss of motor function, although she will of course have to rest for a while.”

Deneuve has had a long and remarkable career, appearing in classics, such as “Belle de Jour” and “The Umbrellas of Cherbourg”, and recently starred alongside Juliette Binoche in “The Truth”, which played at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
