Things are not what they appear to be in the unsettling full trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s new Apple TV+ series “Servant”.

Naturally, the man known for delivering the twists and turns of “The Sixth Sense” and, more recently, “Split”, would bring the unexpected to TV screens.

In the series, executive produced and directed by Shyamalan, Lauren Ambrose and Toby Kebbell play a couple who hire a nanny (“Game Of Thrones” actress Nell Tiger Free) to care for their infant son. There’s just one problem — their son Jerhico died at 13 weeks old. Now, the couple has replaced their son with a life-like doll. Knowing Shyamalan, however, that’s not the only twist in store for viewers, as it seems the new nanny may not quite be what the couple bargained for.

“Harry Potter” star Rupert Grint is also featured in the twisted trailer, at one point screaming at the top of his lungs, though there’s no further details provided about how his character fits into the narrative.

The first season of “Servant” is 10 episodes, but Shyamalan has previously revealed he has plans for 60 episodes spread over six seasons.

“Servant” will arrive on the new streaming platform on Nov. 28.
