James Holzhauer is back!
As the Chicago Tribune reports, the “Jeopardy!” phenom proved his winning streak on the game show earlier this year was no fluke in the Tournament of Champions.
At the end of Wednesday’s episode, the 35-year-old professional gambler from Las Vegas racked up $30,635, which was more than enough to crush his two challengers in the competition, in which the top 15 players from the past two seasons face off.
Holzhauer made worldwide headlines during the summer, thanks to his 32-game winning streak, raking in a whopping $2.4 million in winnings. The all-time biggest winner on the show remains Ken Jennings, with Holzhauer falling just $56,000 short of the “Jeopardy!” champ’s record.
