He made us bust a gut in “My Cousin Vinnie” and “Home Alone”. He made us fear for our lives in “Goodfellas” and “Casino”. And now Joe Pesci is prepared to make us swing with his new jazz album, Still Singing.
On Wednesday, the star of Martin Scorsese’s upcoming Netflix crime drama “The Irishman” released the first single from the forthcoming LP.

Titled “Baby Girl”, the track features a Latin groove, courtesy of Cuban-American trumpeter Arturo Sandoval, along with a bit of vocal support from Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, who can be heard chiming in on the second verse.

Pesci has also unveiled the tracklisting for the album, which reveals that Levine guests on another track, Stevie Wonder’s “My Cherie Amour”, while jazz standard “The Nearness of You” features late jazz singer Jimmy Scott, who passed away in 2014.

This is actually Pesci’s third album, following his 1968 debut Little Joe Sure Can Sing and the 30-years-later Vincent LaGuardia Gambini Sings Just For You, a 1998 parody album released to cash in on the success of “My Cousin Vinnie”.
