Matthew McConaughey Takes His Very First Instagram Selfie With Jimmy Fallon And Thousands Of Students

Matthew McConaughey took his first Instagram selfie with Jimmy Fallon and a load of UT Austin students Thursday.

Fallon was noting what was going on in McConaughey’s life right now — turning 50, becoming a professor at the school, etc. — when he pointed out that the actor had officially joined the social media site.

The talk-show host then asked if McConaughey would take a snap with the crowd, before saying as the pair were surrounded by students: “This is controlled chaos!”

McConaughey also spoke about living in Austin during the special episode of the show, insisting the city’s motto: “In Austin nobody’s too good, but everyone’s good enough.”
