It took more than a little blush to transform Charlize Theron into Megyn Kelly.
Theron broke down the detailed process of playing Kelly in the upcoming film “Bombshell”. Theron, 44, told The Hollywood Reporter that special effects makeup artist-extraordinaire Kazu Hiro was brought on board to help with the film.
“We worked with the greatest, Kazu Hiro,” the Oscar-winning “Monster” actress exclaimed. “It’s really hard to get him to do new stuff.”
“But I did a lot of begging and he came on and designed eight [prosthetic] pieces for me,” she continued. “Two of them basically covered my entire eyelids. It was very intricate work. Intricate work where you still need to be able to do what you need to do, like blink.”
Theron stars alongside Margot Robbie and Nicole Kidman in “Bombshell”. The film rolls into theatres on Dec. 20.
