Matt Damon stops by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Monday, where he talks race car driving and his friendship with Chris Hemsworth.
Damon gets asked about visiting Australia a lot, with DeGeneres mentioning that Hemsworth says he’s extremely bad luck.
The host explains of the country being full of deadly animals, “He says he’s lived there forever and nothing’s ever happened until you’re there.”
Damon replies, “Maybe he has really good luck. I stepped on a huge python the last time I was there, I was getting out of a car.”
The actor also discusses his new film, “Ford v Ferrari”, as well as telling DeGeneres about the “indescribable” experience driving 200 mph with racing legend Mario Andretti behind the wheel.
Plus, since Damon plays a race car designer in his upcoming film, the host tests his driving skills by challenging him to a golf cart obstacle course while wearing a giant inflatable sumo suit, all to raise $50,000 for his charity, Water.org, thanks to Shutterfly.
