“Six seasons and a movie” just got one step closer to reality.
The cast of “Community” reunited with creator Dan Harmon over the weekend at Vulture Festival, and one of the biggest question on everyone’s lips was whether a movie spin-off is in the works.
Asked what it would take to get a movie off the ground, Joel McHale joked, “One million dollars for Donald [Glover].”
“Who’s supposed to say ‘everyone do this?’” Harmon said. “That’s what I’ve always said. How does it happen?”
Alison Brie responded, “Sounds like it starts with you, Dan.”
After Harmon joked that the moment he wrote a script, half the cast would back out, the members of the cast who. were present, including McHale, Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Jim Rash, Yvette Nicole Brown, Ken Jeong and Chris McKenna, all publicly vowed to do the movie if a script is written.
