Two Canadian rap icons are joining forces for a brand-new single.

On Tuesday, Choclair and Classified dropped “Hurt Everybody”, their collaborative new track and music video.

The new song marks their first recorded collaboration, having recently toured together, with more to come on an upcoming album.

“Class and I have known each other for fifteen-plus years and we’ve made some monstrous music over that period of time,” Choclair said in a statement. “Coming off the ‘Canadian Classic’ tour it felt like the perfect moment to record a full project. So, we are leading off with the single/video ‘Hurt Everybody’ that I believe will showcase our musical chemistry and will have the audience anticipating and excited to see what else we have in store on this record”.

“The first tour I ever did was opening for Choclair back in 1999, the year his album Ice Cold came out,” Classified added. “Fast forward 19 years and we did the ‘Canadian Classic’ tour and during that, made plans for me to produce his next album. Well…we did it! He flew into Enfield for four days and we made the record.

He continued, “Now we are ready to release the first single wh,ich I also spit a verse on, shot a video in Enfield and we are excited to let you guys see and hear it – ‘Hurt Everybody’… by two of the nicest guys that you’ll ever meet in Canadian Hip Hop.”
