Garth Brooks And Trisha Yearwood Are Big Fans Of Lizzo’s ‘Good As Hell’

Lizzo has been burning up the charts with her infectious hit “Good As Hell”, and two of country music’s biggest stars have just professed to be big fans of the song.

On Monday night’s edition of his “Inside Studio G” conversation with fans on Facebook, Garth Brooks randomly gave Lizzo a shoutout.

While chatting about wife Trisha Yearwood’s preparations for the upcoming CMA Awards, Brooks noted that Yearwood was “getting her hair done on Tuesday or Wednesday or something,” and then spontaneously quoted Lizzo’s lyric from the track. “Hair did, check your nails,” he quipped (the moment can be seen at the 27:07 mark in the video below).

Brooks and Yearwood later offered an explanation in another Facebook video promoting the upcoming awards, with the couple sitting side by side as they answered fan questions they read off index cards.

“What is your go to jam song?” Brooks read from his card. After looking at his wife for a moment, he responded, “I gotta go with Lizzo.”

“Really?” said Yearwood in surprise. “Is it because that’s all I play in the house?”

“That’s all you play in the house,” Brooks deadpanned, with that moment taking place at the 2:05 mark below.
