Ray Romano is getting into shape, all because of a comment made by Al Pacino.

The “Everybody Loves Raymond” star is on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Wednesday to promote his new movie with Pacino, “The Irishman”.
As Romano explains, during the shoot the actors would go back and forth playing their characters at different ages, from 40 to 70; to do so, Romano had to wear a fat suit.
On set one day after lunch, Pacino called out the suit, only Romano wasn’t actually wearing it.
“He looks at me and goes, ‘Ray, I didn’t know you were wearing the fat suit,’” Ray recalls. “And I went, ‘I’m not, Al.’ I was bloated! I just came back from lunch, and I made my New Year’s resolution right there.”
