Kacey Musgraves had a big night Wednesday at the CMA Awards, winning Female Vocalist of the Year thanks to the success of her critically acclaimed album Golden Hour and hit single “Slow Burn”.
As if that wasn’t enough excitement for one night, she also took to the stage of Nashville’s Brdigestone Arena to perform a duet of the “Muppet Movie” classic “Rainbow Connection” with living legend Willie Nelson.
If ever there was a night to celebrate, that would be it. Musgraves apparently felt the same way, judging by a hilarious tweet she sent out on Thursday, a.k.a. the morning after.

“Can you die from a hangover?” she wrote. “Asking for a friend who is actually me.”
Meanwhile, the upcoming holiday season promises to be a big one for the Texas-born singer, who’ll be debuting her star-studded Christmas special on Amazon Prime Video.
Narrated by “Schitt’s Creek” star Dan Levy, the star-studded special will feature an array of special guests, including Fred Armisen, Camila Cabello, James Corden, Zooey Deschanel and Lana Del Rey.
Look for “The Kacey Musgraves Christmas Show” to debut on Friday, Nov. 29.
