Jane Fonda led another weekly climate change protest on Capitol Hill – this time joined by “CSI” star Marg Helgenberger and Robert Kennedy Jr.
Fonda’s “Grace and Frankie” daughter June Diane Raphael also joined in and the three were all arrested after staging a sit-in at the Russell Senate Office Building.
This time around, Fonda managed to avoid arrest for the second week in a row.
The actress has said that she will continue to join in on the event dubbed Fire Drill Fridays until she has to get back to filming the Netflix series in January. It also means she needs to avoid being arrested before her Nov. 27 court date, because the accumulation of her first four arrests could mean she will be held up to 30 days.
Last week Ben & Jerry founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield joined Fonda on Capitol Hill. Fonda slipped out before they had the chance to arrest her, though it turns out nobody was arrested on Friday, Nov. 8.
