While the Billboard 2019 Women in Music event isn’t until Dec. 12, Taylor Swift is already a winner as Billboard’s first-ever Woman of the Decade.
Billboard announced the news Monday, revealing that the “Lover” singer will receive the momentous award at this year’s event, which celebrates the industry’s most powerful female artists and executives.
Swift will be honoured for her achievements in music, with her impressive 12-year career, including five number one albums, five number-one Billboard Hot 100 singles and three worldwide stadium tours. On top of all that, Swift is the only female artist to be awarded the Billboard Woman of the Year Award twice.
Alanis Morissette, Brandi Carlile, Nicki Minaj and more will also be honoured at the big event as well.
As previously reported, Swift will also be named Artist of the Decade at the 2019 American Music Awards.
