Latin music is the undisputed ruler of 2019 on YouTube.
On Tuesday, the video streaming platform released its list of the most-viewed music videos of the year. Spectacularly, all five top entries are by Latin artists. Even the sixth-place song, “Senorita” by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello, has Latin influences and roots.

Daddy Yankee and Snow topped the list with “Con Calma”. The visuals currently sit at more than 1.57 billion views on YouTube. The runner-up, by ROSALIA and J. Balvin, also crossed the 1 billion mark.
Yankee, Balvin, Anuela AA and Karol G actually scored multiple videos in the top five. The top 10 also features BLACKPINK’s “‘Kill This Love’ M/V”, Billie Eilish’s “bad guy” and Ariana Grande’s “7 rings”.
