While Cher is known for her roles on the big screen, and of course her music, the icon wanted to try her hand at some behind-the-camera work.

The singer, 73, chatted with WSJ Magazine and revealed she once dreamed about making a movie about Winston Churchill’s wife Clementine after listening to an audiobook about her life.

Clementine: The Life of Mrs. Winston Churchill… that one is really one of the great stories of all time,” she said of the book by Sonia Purnell. “I loved it so much that I wanted to make a movie about it.”

She added, “But Sting’s wife got to it first.”

According to IMDb, Trudie Styler, and her production company Maven Pictures will serve as a producer on the currently untitled biopic. It also has no release date.

Cher listened to The Life of Mrs. Winston Churchill before bed, which she admits that she doesn’t have a set bedtime, “Bed happens when it happens.”

She added, “I just fall asleep in my workout clothes or nothing at all.”
