Justin Hartley is calling it quits after two years of marriage with Chrishell Stause.

Hartley filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, in court documents obtained by TMZ. Hartley, 42, and Stause, 38, were married for two years. The “This Is Us” star filed the paperwork himself without an attorney.

He also lists July 8, 2019, as the date of separation despite the couple being spotted together a number of times in between. Hartley is not asking for spousal support but asks that Stause pay the lawyer fees.

“People close to Justin and Chrishell are completely shocked by Justin filing for divorce,” a source told ET. “The couple has always been incredible with no signs of things being on the rocks.”

“Friends are speculating this was an impulse on Justin’s side due to something that happened,” the source continued. “And are hopeful the couple can work things out.”.

The two stars were both soap opera stars when they met. They dated for three years before Hartley popped the question
