While the Rosebud Motel isn’t a real place, “Schitt’s Creek” fans are honouring the iconic, fake landmark.

After news that the beloved comedy series would wrap after their sixth season, fans took to Google Maps to leave the best five-star reviews, full of “Schitt’s Creek” references, for the Ontario building where exterior shots of the motels were filmed.

The official Twitter account for the show shared a few of their favourites, writing, “Omg these Google Maps reviews of the ‘Schitt’s Creek’ motel are the best, you sweet, sweet strangers.”

“Stevie and Johnny were a delight,” wrote one user. “They made sure our accommodations were met when my wife and I stayed on our anniversary. Place was clean and enjoyable. I loved the complimentary cinnamon rolls.”

Another five-star review reads, “Was pretty nice. The room next door kept blasting ‘Don’t Cry Out Loud’ all night though.”

The real motel, which is located in Orangeville, is currently not accepting reservations.

The final season of “Schitt’s Creek”, which stars Dan Levy, Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara and Annie Murphy, premieres on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
