Danny DeVito really wants to make a “Matilda” sequel.
DeVito played Harry Wormwood alongside his wife Zinnia (Rhea Perlman) in the beloved 1996 flick.
The actor told ComicBook: “I always wanted to do ‘Matilda 2’, but when the kid was still a kid.
“But that was like 20 years ago, 25 years ago. Maybe Matilda has a kid and we can do something [with] that, I don’t know.”
Matilda was played by Mara Wilson, who is now 32 years old.
DeVito’s comments come after it was revealed that Netflix would be adapting “Matilda” along with numerous other Roald Dahl stories.
“The BFG” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” are among the films getting remade for the streaming service.
