Robert Pattinson Hopes ‘Batman’ Attention Won’t Be As Intense ‘Twilight’ Fame

Robert Pattinson is pretty zen about the fame that comes with playing Batman.

The actor sat down for an interview with Willie Geist, to air on “Sunday Today” this weekend, and in a preview clip, he opens up about taking on the iconic superhero role in “The Batman”.

Asked what he first thought when he heard he was being offered the role, Pattinson says, ‘Like an immediate ‘yes.'”

Geist also asked if Pattinson considered the downsides of going back to the levels of fame he experienced during his time in the “Twilight” franchise.

“I’m hoping it won’t be people hanging outside my place,” Pattinson laughs. “I just think I’m kind of boring and old now.”
