It’s hard to believe it has been almost 20 years since Jennifer Aniston first made waves with “The Rachel”;, one of the most famous haircuts in history, on the ’90s hit show “Friends”;.
Two decades on, she’s still one of Hollywood’s hottest and her golden locks are still the envy of women worldwide. Now Jen teams up with the man who created that famous cut, stylist Chris McMillan and Living Proof to help women have a good hair day, everyday.
The haircare brand has just launched a web series fronted by Jen, which promotes products to quash frizz, fight damage and promote body. In the first video titled, “Obsessions”;, the star talks about the style that made her famous. “I think it’s hysterical, that me of all people who grew up with the worst – unmanageable hair was known for that,”; says Jen who once called the cut, “one of the ugliest”; she’s ever seen.
She may have hated “The Rachel”;, but even now it’s still a winner at some salons. As for why locks are so important, Jen says: “I think good hair days matter to us because we are women. I don’t know how to explain what that is, our hair means something to us.”;
