Kim Petras has the best response to the hateful protesters from the Westboro Baptist Church.
While fans were concerned about encountering the bigoted protesters after the hate group announced they would be picketing outside her concert in Kansas City, the transgender pop icon had the perfect plan.
Before her show, the German-born singer posted a short video mashup of her songs with Famous Dex’s “Hoes Mad” and a news chiron stating the same. “This is my official statement on WBC picketing my show in Kansas tomorrow,” she wrote. “This is the energy I’m bringing n it should be yours too.”
Petras, 27, doubled-down on her promise and brought her A-game to Kansas City, posing in front of anti-LGBTQ+ picketers in a black thong bodysuit, fishnets and over-the-knee boots.
Ignoring their hate-filled chants, Petras posed for photos, captioning one of her flashing the peace sign, “hoes still mad.” “Next opening act, the Westboro Baptist Church,” she joked on her Instagram Stories.
Fans and celebrities showed their support, commenting on her post with words of encouragement.
“YAAASSSS,” Demi Lovato wrote, while Katy Perry dubbed her an “icon.” “This is holy to me,” Tyler Oakley added.
“Most iconic thing you’ve ever done ✅,” Toderick Hall posted.
