Justin Bieber took to Instagram to take a “stand against racism” Tuesday.
Bieber was seen using the n-word in several videos when he was younger and has since apologized.
Referencing the clips, he wrote: “When I was young I was uneducated and found myself saying really hurtful things not knowing the power of my words.
“Racism Is still very prevalent and I want to use my voice to remind we are all human being and all of EQUAL VALUE BEFORE GOD!”
His comments come after he was seen looking into the camera singing a racist version of his track “One Less Lonely Girl” at age 14.
Bieber sang at the time, “There’ll be one less lonely n*****.”
He could also be heard joking about killing black people and joining the Ku Klux Klan, the Blast reported.
Bieber previously said of the clip, “I thought it was OK to repeat hurtful words and jokes, but didn’t realize at the time that it wasn’t funny and that in fact, my actions were continuing the ignorance.”
