Fans aren’t the only ones getting emotional over the end of the Skywalker saga with “Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker”.
Cast member Richard E. Grant, who plays Allegiant General Pryde, praised the film, assuring fans it is “absolutely everything that’d you hope it was going to be.”
The Oscar-nominated actor took to Twitter to share his reaction following the first cast screening of “The Rise Of Skywalker”.
“Nothing prepares you for this. I cheered, I shouted, I fist-pumped the air, I cried, I stood and cheered,” he says in the short video. Grant’s Pryde character is a First Order officer who rose to power alongside General Hux. The actor previously revealed he auditioned for the role by acting out scenes from an 1940s British war film.
“I’m so proud to be in it and I can’t wait for you to see it,” he adds.
“Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker” opens in theatres on Dec. 19.
