Willem Dafoe Stars In Historical Sled Dog Adventure ‘Togo’ On Disney+

The courage of man’s best friend is about to be put to the test.

On Wednesday, the first trailer for the upcoming Disney+ historical drama “Togo” premiered.

Willem Dafoe stars in the film about the 1925 sled dog trek across 600 miles of rugged Alaskan terrain, to deliver a cure to stop an epidemic.

Leading the way is the loyal and tenacious dog Togo, who pulls Dafoe’s Leonhard Seppala through deadly storms and temperatures reaching more than 50-degrees below zero.

Shot in Alberta, “Togo” also stars Julianne Nicholson, and is set to premiere on Disney+ on Dec. 20.
