Henry Cavill Took Inspiration From Khaleesi In ‘Game Of Thrones’ For New Series ‘The Witcher’

It looks like “Game of Thrones” fans have a new show to get obsessed over.

On Tuesday night, Henry Cavill appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” to talk about his new Netflix fantasy series “The Witcher”.

And it’s not just the genre that should have fans interested. According to Cavill, he actually took inspiration for his blonde-haired Gerald of Rivia in the new show from a similarly blonde “Game of Thrones” character.

“I modelled myself off Khaleesi,” he joked. “I made people call me Khaleesi or Emilia on set… no eye contact, I want to be Emilia or Khaleesi.”

He added, “Call me mother of dragons, I’m fine.”

“The Witcher” premieres on Netflix on Dec. 20.
