Alanis Morissette had big news for fans on Wednesday when she revealed some new music is on the way.
“So excited to announce that my new album ‘Such Pretty Forks In The Road’ will be out on May 1st,” she tweeted, sharing a link where fans can check out the new LP’s first single, “Reasons I Drink”.
Morissette’s Twitter account has been chock-full of exciting news. An hour before her album announcement, the 45-year-old Canadian rocker announced plans to hit the road next summer for a special tour commemorating the 25th anniversary of her seminal album Jagged Little Pill. She’ll be joined on tour by Garbage and Liz Phair.
Meanwhile, the new mom (she welcomed her third child, son Winter Mercy Morissette-Treadway in August) is also appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
She tweeted a sneak peek photo, in which she and host Jimmy Fallon are wearing disguises while busking in the subway, with their undercover busking presumably airing in the episode.
