Billie Eilish is reportedly in negotiations for a new project that could make her $25 million richer.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 17-year-old “Bad Guy” singer is nearing a deal with Apple TV+ for a new documentary that “multiple sources” say will net her a $25-million payday.
The film has already been shot, directed by famed documentary filmmaker R.J. Cutler at a budget of between $1 million and $2 million, and produced in collaboration with Interscope Records, Eilish’s label.
The doc, sources claim, follows Eilish’s rapidly changing life after the runaway success of her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, which was released in March. Cutler was reportedly “granted deep access to Eilish’s private moments with family and behind the scenes of her public appearances.”
After the film was reportedly shopped around to multiple distributors, Apple TV+ won the bidding war and nabbed the project. The still-untitled documentary is expected to debut on the new streaming service in 2020.
