Jason Mraz has a bone to pick with brewing giant Coors Light.
According to TMZ, the singer is suing the beer company for an Instagram advertisement that used an unauthorized clip of him performing his hit “I’m Yours” live.
The summer-themed ad includes approximately 13 seconds of Mraz’s performance at the BeachLife Festival in Redondo Beach, California, back in May. It also includes an image of Mraz with the Coors Light logo and a can of the beverage prominently displayed.
Mraz allegedly told the company it was committing copyright infringement as it failed to seek his permission. It has also thus far failed to acknowledge the wrongful use of the footage.
