A number of singers and DJs gathered in Stockholm for a charity concert in honour of the late Avicii.

Avicii, real name Tim Bergling, died at age 28 in April 2018 by an apparent suicide. His family called the DJ a perfectionist who “could not go on any longer.”

Rita Ora, Adam Lambert, Aloe Blacc, Nicky Romero, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas, Audra Mae, Andreas Moe, Kygo and Sandro Cavazza were joined by a 30-strong band for the concert, from which proceeds will go towards mental health awareness. Many of the stars also shared their personal memories of the musician.

In a statement before the concert, Avicii’s father Klas Bergling said, “We are grateful that his friends, artists and musicians with whom he worked during his career have come to Stockholm to help us realize this tribute concert.”
