Kelly Clarkson has been killing it on her daytime talk show, opening each episode with a crowd-pleasing “Kellyoke” cover version of another artist’s song.
For Thursday’s episode, the “Voice” coach looked north to borrow a song from Canada’s own Alessia Cara, tackling her “Scars to Your Beautiful”.
As the song built to its crescendo, Clarkson welcomed an array of audience members, who joined her onstage to dance and clap along.
Is Cara aware of Clarkson’s cover? You bet she is, and offered an all-emoji message conveying her full range of emotions at hearing Clarkson take on her song.
