Act fast because Ryan Reynolds’ new offer won’t be around for long.
On Friday, the Canadian actor dropped a hilarious teaser for his new film “Free Guy”. With the full trailer for the film out Saturday, the teaser takes a very unique approach.
It opens with what appears to be a sit-down interview with the cast, including Lil Rel Howery, Jodie Comer, and Joe Keery.
But rather than follow their lead, Reynolds talks about his character’s blue dress shirt, and then turns to the camera to sell it as though he’s on a TV shopping network, complete with graphics.

The other actors appear confused, but Reynolds keeps the bit going, offering not just the shirt, but his striped tie, his blue “Guy” name tag and even a mini Guy action figure.
In his tweet sharing the teaser, Reynolds also joked about fitting in at Disney, since the film is being released by 20th Century Fox, which is now owned by the studio.
“Free Guy” hits theatres July 3, 2020.
