The next chapter in the “Ghostbusters” franchise finally has its official title.
On Friday, Sony Pictures revealed that the film, directed by Jason Reitman, will be called “Ghostbusters: Afterlife”, Deadline reported.

The studio also released a brand new poster for the film.

The new film in the series centres on a single mom played by Carrie Coon and her two kids as the arrive in a small town and discover their connection to the legacy of the original “Ghostbusters”.

The film also stars Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Paul Rudd and a number of the original film’s cast.
“Ghostbusters: Afterlife” is slated to hit theatres July 10, 2020.
