Fans were so excited to see Ryan Reynolds in Brazil for CCXP that he was almost squashed when a barricade gave way from the weight of all the fans behind it.
Reynolds had hopped off stage to greet some of the people when the barricade collapsed. He managed to jump out of the way when security and his team came running to check on him and the audience.
The Canadian actor was okay and returned to the crowd to make sure no one else was hurt.
Reynolds’ then made his way to the other side of the stage to greet those fans only for that barricade to also fall over.
He was in Sao Paulo to promote “Free Guy”–complete with a new trailer seen below and his other film “6 Underground”.
“6 Underground” will be released on Netflix on Dec. 13 and “Free Guy” hits theatres on July. 3.
