NeNe Leakes is not about to let Andy Cohen get away with criticizing her outfit.
On Sunday night’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live”, Cohen sat down with Eva Marcille, one of Leakes’ “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-stars and her former friend. As expected, Leakes became a recurring topic of conversation, but one comment had her furious at the host and “Real Housewives” executive producer.
“By the way, one of NeNe’s confessional looks this year is the same dress she wore to our big doorbell show in L.A. where the strap broke, so I guess she fixed her strap, which we love,” Cohen said. “We just love our eagle-eyed researchers here!”
As Marcille laughed, Cohen seemed to realize his mistake.
“I didn’t mean for that to be shady!” he said.
Leakes did not take the comment well, despite what the intention might have been.
“Can somebody please tell me what was the point of this? Like i don’t get it,” the reality star wrote on Instagram next to a clip of the comment. “That was 2 years ago i wore this dress ONCE, so i can’t sit in a confessional with it on @bravoandy How many times have you recycled your suits and ties? #pointless #messy why you care?”
Cohen has yet to address the issue.
