Jennifer Lopez Reacts After Fan Convinces Airline To Pitch ‘Hustlers’ To Flyers

Jennifer Lopez has invited one fan to be her backup dancer after he spread the word about the “Hustlers” Golden Globe nomination.

Lopez is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in “Hustlers”, a film she executive produced. In celebration of the Golden Globes nod, a writer named Joseph Longo tried to get everyone his flight from New York to Los Angeles to watch the movie.

“In honour of JLo’s Golden Globes nomination this morning, I WILL make sure everyone watches Hustlers on this flight,” he tweeted on Monday. “Hey Jet Blue, there are definitely Oscar voters on this N.Y. to L.A. flight. Please let me make an announcement!”

Jet Blue saw Longo’s tweet and obliged. A flight attendant got onto the plane’s intercom and shared the writer’s message. The flight attendant accidentally referred to Longo as one of JLo’s backup dancers when Longo had described himself as the “backup JLo”.

JLo caught wind of Longo’s antics and shared her gratitude on Twitter: “This is amazing!!!!!!! You can be my backup dancer any day. THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT.”

The 77th Golden Globe Awards will take place on Jan. 5, 2020.
