Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have been engaged in a hilarious fake feud for some time now, and during a recent appearance on Australia’s “Today” show the “Deadpool” star took their tiff to a new level.
During an interview promoting his new action movie “6 Underground”, the 43-year-old Vancouver native accused Jackman, 51, of being a “fraud” who’s only pretending to be Australian.
“He’s just an evil person. You guys have all been duped,” Reynolds deadpanned, insisting Jackman is a fellow Canadian.

“You think he is this benevolent ambassador from your country, people don’t realize he is from Winnipeg, Canada,” Reynolds added. “The truth makes your eyes water. Hugh Jackman is a fraud.”
On Thursday, Jackman responded to the slight by sharing a photo of Wolverine with Deadpool wrapped around his middle claw, to which Reynolds responded with another joke.
In October, Reynolds took to social media to wish Jackman a happy birthday in a profanity-ridden NSFW video.
Jackman has dished it out in the past as well. Check out his political attack ad targeting Reynolds:
